San Francisco is done. I’ve been working on “San Francisco, North Section” for the past year and it is now officially complete. It is my biggest project to date (55” x 33”) and demonstrates an evolution in my mapmaking technique. Each city block is now colored selectively with borders for a finer appearance. As I noted in my last blog, this map covers the northern half of the City, where most of the action and famous landmarks reside. Given the size, scope, and scale of the map, coupled with the love that people have for San Francisco, I think it will be very popular.
I am presently having the original reproduced in a digital file, which I will turn over to my printer to create prints. When these are available, I will present them for sale here on my artmapmaker.com website.
